St Michael's has supported St Jude's Ranch for many years. St. Jude's Boulder City, NM is a home for abused and battered children The children live at the Ranch in "houses with adult "parents"; 5-6 children to a house. There are many ways one can help. One is by saving labels which has enabled the ranch to buy, among other things, many vans for transporting children.

You can save:

• General Mills Box tops for Education (just the small education label on top) Most General Mills products, also Yoplait Multipacks and Adventure Packs, check out the top of General Mills product for the "Education" label.

  Save labels from:

  • Campbell's Soups, beans, etc.
  • Prego Spaghetti Sauces
  • Pepperidge Farm breads, cookies, etc. (UPC symbols)
  • Early California Olives
  • Franco-American products
  • Marie's Dressings (save lids or neck bands with UPC)
  • Mrs. Paul's Frozen products (UPC symbols)
  • Open Pit BBQ Sauce
  • Sanwa Ramen Pride Soups
  • Swanson Broths
  • Swanson Frozen Foods (UPS symbols)
  • V8 Juices
  • Vlasic Pickles, Olives, etc. (save lid or neck band with UPC)

  Also save the front part of all greeting cards, (Christmas, birthday, etc). The children recycle these into new cards; they do the work and are paid through the sales of the cards. This is for their spending money.
